Alexia Bullard

I’ve stuttered for my entire life, and have been writing for just as long. It’s pretty difficult for me to communicate through verbal conversation, especially over the phone. As you can imagine, this made for some trying times during my previous places of employment. Even with my speech impediment, and rude remarks from ignorant people, I still managed to be the top sales person at my previous places of employment.

I took that dedication and started freelancing a couple of years ago, and have never looked back. I love having a career that lets me be my own boss, set my own schedule, and not have to worry (much) about my speech impediment.

I’m a Tacoma-based freelance writer who specializes in B2B and marketing topics, a specialty supported by over 10 years of sales and customer service experience. I craft laser-focused, in-depth blog posts, articles, webinar content, and website copy for companies, small business owners, and trade publications.

My biggest goal is to combine my pet care experience – I have worked alongside veterinarians since I was little, worked in a veterinary hospital, learned from herpetologists, was a dog handler for over 14 years, and worked for a major pet retailer – with my love of business writing. I’m really striving to become a copywriter/B2B writer for pet retailers and pet retail suppliers.
